This is one of my favorite hedychiums. I got it from DR. Tom Wood 2 years ago. It's called "Clown Suit" and it really kind of looks like one...a 4 petaled blossom arranged so that it looks like 2 arms outstretched and 2 legs down.

Very nice Goth, I like it. Nothing unusual among my hedy population. I tried Tropic Bird one time, but it was so puny that it died on me. I don't even have the one called Mutant.

Yes I have grown it in the past but I no longer have it. It is a very epiphytic species and a bit touchy. I used to grow it in a cocofiber basket. Currently I have its cousin, H. horsfeldii which is less so and does very well
