Ah, when we don't listen to our Mother's advice on things, we usually wish we Had! =) I know, because I had a Mom, & I am a Mom. Sometimes we just have to find out things for ourselves, even if it's costly or painful!
I have something like Charlie that creeps everywhere, but has tiny, untoothed leaves; it wanders up in different places & pots, although it isn't hard to pull out. My husband says, "Not That again!"... 'But I just planted a little piece of it!'
Great info & pics, plus a little humor, which all gardeners need daily. Thanks, Sharon!

I know too, Petal, but I didn't listen. Yours might be Creeping Jenny, I have it too, but it has a rounder leaf, and is glossy. Really a prettier plant than Charlie is. I see it sometimes now in community pots, and I think I could supply a nursery with mine. It was another of my 'mistakes' because I didn't listen.

Thank you again, as always, for writing.
