I love Sharon's stories too! I think her computer access is iffy this week, but she'll respond when she's able. :-) charlesdills San Luis Obispo, CAJune 29, 2009 09:17 AM

I was having a problem with a blackberry a neighbor planted.
I think I have finally gotten rid of it.
I got one of those big white plastic buckets and cut a huge hole in it.
Then I placed this over the plants, excluding the plants I wanted.
The I shot it with Roundup!
The bucket protected the nearby plants.
I left it for a couple hours and then removed the bucket.
You won't get them all the first time.
But if you are persistent and observant, you eventually will!
I haven't seen a blackberry for some time! Also a Charles! Sharran Calvert City, KY (Zone 6b)June 29, 2009 09:58 AM

Daphnep, thank you.
Charlesdills, I hadn't thought of that, but it just might work. Thanks for the suggestion.
And Critter, thanks for checking in for me when I was unavailable.
Hope you are all enjoying your day, I think we are supposed to be out of the 100* heat range for a while!
Thanks for writing.
