I am looking for a nice narrow (but tall) tree for a narrow space in my yard. Can anyone who has one of these oaks give me some feedback? I was thinking of a Lombardy Poplar, but I had those as a kid and I'm afraid that tree would 'lift' the paver path next to it, along with suckers galore.
I think this might be the tree I'm looking for, as I don't know of any oaks that 'sucker'- they mainly send roots down.
Thanks!
