I have a pot of hyacinth bulbs that have been kept outside and watered and have now died back. One of them I dug up a bit to see how they are and it was nice and firm. Should I just move the pot to the garage and stop watering, or dig them up and dry? If I kept them inside at around 76 degrees would that be cool enough? Or can I dig them up and plant them now? I think I read they can be planted in summer if in a spot that doesn't get watered, but they would get water where I want to put them. They weren't terribly expensive, but I hate to throw out good (potential) plants. There will be other Hyacinths added to them in the fall as well.
