My Pressure Washer does not want to suck up the soap from the soap jug. It has clear hose that hooks to the Pressure Washer on the side and then you stick the other end in the soap jug or a bucket of soap. It has never worked we tried using the soap dispensers hose before but it never has worked. Do you have to prime it somehow to take up the soap.

You shouldn't have to. The action of the water through the pressure side should create a vacuum/suction that pulls the soap through and into the stream of the PW water.

If it's never worked, I wonder if there's a blockage maybe in the way it was originally shipped. There may be a blocked hole much like a garbage disposal has a block on the discharge side until you open it.

Check to see if there is anything that would restrict the free flow of soap through to the place it needs to go.

It shouldn't matter what type it is, what DesertPirate said would be true for any of them.
