Hello, I'm new to this particular forum though I'm around here for several years.

A generous DG friend from Danmark sent me some bulbs 2 years back and I planted them promptly in separate pots in 2007. To my delight, it threw up nice and healthy leaves except a few with weaker and smaller ones. Eventually it did not flower at all. Last year, we moved in to another portion of the same premises [a long story detailed in my blog here] and I there was ample space for me to plant in the ground. Soil too was better and now it had full sunlight, in fact the afternoon sun as it was west facing. In summer though I protected them with shade net which I promptly removed when mercury came down in the end of May. In the process, the labels I had made for indivudual bulbs have gone astray.

I'm now so happy that many varieties are giving joy with their first blooms in our part of the world. It came from the colder zone.

I also want to know which ones they are and in the meantime, I'll also look up a list which I think I made when the packet arrived and see if it matches. I hope I have.

They are so beautiful and I want to share them here in this forum with other bulb-lovers.
