Hi,
About 3 years ago I made a cement cast of a rhubarb leaf to use as a bird bath. It came out well, I painted it to look like a caladium leaf, and I was pleased with it. Last week, however, my dog ran across it in pursuit of a squirrel... she stepped on the pointier end and flipped it into the air. When it came down the back of one side broke off in several pieces. Do any of you know of something I could use to try to repair it? The only thing I can think of is silicone, but I have no idea if it would stick the cement together. Is there any kind of glue that would work?

I'm sure that there is. If you don't get an answer here, you might try the concrete & hypertufa forum or home repairs and maintenance or the handyman forum.
There is a sort of cement product that bonds to cement. Not a general use glue but made for cement. A trip to the local home depot should be informative. (I wouldn't count on the help there --but just look down the aisles.)
There are a number of construction adhesives that will work. As mentioned above a trip to your local home improvement center will turn up lots of options. Look in the paint dept and in the building materials section, usually near the sacks of concrete.
A hardware store product called water plug may serve you well. As to cost and tinkering to make it work...it might be a stroke of wisdom to just make another growing on your own experience.
Waterplug is an epoxy ammended cement product. Once cured it is strong and waterproof. It is real good for fixing a crack that is leaking.
