I was watching a monarch cat in the J start his/her chrysalis yesterday... but found it today looking like a picture that kennedyh_1204342131_861_tn[1] posted on the id pages titled "Monarch caterpillar changing into a pupa (after 1 minute) in my house in Victoria, Australia, February 2008"
is it dead? Should I get rid of it?

I also found a monarch butterfly - kinda folded up in a what looked like a dried puddle ( 2" diameter).
I think one of the Frogs on the downspouts at my front door must have eaten it and vomited... the frogs are gonners.. just got to figure out how to get them 18 '
up on top of my downspouts. maybe the powerwasher and a ladder...

I am going chrysalis hunting after work today and any I find are getting put out in my Lanai.. I have 40 of them now.. I can't wait till they start eclosing.
