Hi,
My friend recently went to Boca Raton and brought back 2 coconuts. We had been wanting to get a couple for a few years now and plant an orchid inside it. These are the big coconuts, not like the ones in stores. We were going to try to split them in half, hopefully to have 2 sides to plant the orchid inside. How long should we wait to let the coconut dry out after removing the "meat"?? Is there anything else special we should do to prepare it??? Anything else I need to know??
