my friend works at a pizza place hear in northern California and this was found in a box of tomatoes...what is it ..and is it dangerous..

This looks to be in the family Tengellidae, possibly in the genus Titiotus. I have heard of occurrences of this genus in Marin, Sonoma, and Contra Costa Counties. Wait for someone to confirm.

Very little appears known about the venom of this spider, but I doubt that a bite would be medically significant.
