My friend is cleaning out an overgrown little pond (about 8 foot diameter). It has one end of it overgrown with iris. She wants to take a bunch out and plant them in a different area.
The question is...will they be ok if she grows them in soil instead of water? Or are they only for water?
The area she wants to plant them in, is a run-off so it gets a decent amount of water. It will also go dry during times like now because of 97 degrees and no rain for 2 weeks. She does have her sprinklers on so they will get limited watering.
Thanks,
chris
