But I also don't care much for plain grass (fancy grasses are another thing). I'm in CT and we've been having an unusually cool and wet and dark Spring and Summer. My Lilies hate it but the Creeping Charlie seems fine - perhaps unusually fine. I do try to keep it out of the flower garden by yaning it occasioanlly when it pops up out of the mulch. What I really have problems with is all the wild garlic. I can't possibly eat that much!

Funny you should say that. I do have that dark end of my house where I just let it go, too, and it looks better than bare dry dirt. But on the other hand, I hate it in my daylilies and my phlox, and iris, and hollyhocks, and all the other treasures that grow in my yard.
And, ummmm, yes...I have wild garlic, too.
Sigh!
