So, I got these seeds from Wintersown, a grab-bag heirloom variety. I planted the seeds this winter and this is the first ripened tomato!!! What a long time to wait!! But in this part of Texas things go a little slower, which you may have heard LOL. It wasn't actually ready when we picked it and ate it today but we just couldn't wait any longer and it sure was sweet and flavorful. I think the next one will probably taste even better if we let it ripen!! Luckily some of the other tomatoes are starting to ripen too!

Sure wish I knew the name of this lovely tomato. I have saved some of the seeds and plan to save more. Anyone recognize it?

Anyone else get seeds from HTTP://WINTERSOWN.ORG ? They send free seeds!
