A ditch lily is a type of daylily, and there are tons and tons of different daylilies in all sorts of colors. Generally I've only heard the common name ditch lily applied to the orange ones, but if you're looking at daylilies in general there are tons of different ones.

It is Hemerocallis fulva, which comes in several colors and double forms, all varying from the simple brownish-orange form.
