I just picked up a start of this plant and added to my flowerbed with a large clematis...and it loves it's new environment. I have always tossed a couple cups of bonemeal in this bed because the clematis is beautiful every spring. This start of this Coreopsis Moonbeam that I purchased 50% off at the nursery...is loving the soil. Just thought I would share this and possible you could add clematis to the border of your plants. I am excited to see if it comes back in the spring...but it is my guess it loves its new environment. I think bone meal is a treat for this plant!

I think when we started we had a very humuusy rich mix put in that almost anything would have loved! Unfortunately, I don't WANT this plant any more, but there it is, every spring/summer. I hope yours is successful for you, since you WANT it there, and thanks for reading!
