I came across these at a local big box center. They were labeled "Stair King" so I'm assuming they were used to build stair steps. They are 24x15, by 7" deep and weigh 85 pounds each! I will set these on the top of a gravel bed. The ground here is heavy clay so even if soil in the planter is fast draining, the clay would slow drainage. The neatest thing is they were being clearanced at $6.44 each. Regular price $12.44. I am seriously thinking about going back and getting a couple more.
