Hi,
Got this cactus as a gift a couple months ago.
Some of the cactus stems are getting thin and curling up on the end. None of the stems were thining or curling when I got it. Normal growth? Too much water/light or not enough?
thanks!

Normal, they'll fill out as they get older.

I don't know anything about Rat Tail Cactus but they are gorgeous plants when in bloom! I dislike thorny plants but somehow I think this plant would be worth all the thorns to see those beautiful flowers: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/54508/

Thanks for the info, When I got it, it was in full bloom - gorgeous! The flowers were vibrant magenta and plentiful - somewhat reminiscent of christmas or thanksgiving cactus blooms.
