Can anyone tell me what this flower is? Don't remember planting it and it just bloomed yesterday.
Thanks

Looks like a coneflower. Can we see the leaves? Whole plant?

definitely coneflower!

Birds love the seed in the winter, but they also reseed and can be a nuisance-so I deadhead them before they can scatter their seed.

Lots and lots of new hybrids available. They are strong easycare plants for full sun, and a perennial in your zone.

HTH!

Yes, coneflower. Echinacea.
