I wish I had found it a few years ago..I got it at the library it's 'The Perennial Gardener's Design Primer' by Stephanie Cohen & Nancy J. Ondra...it has great pictures, design tips, color combos... I was looking for 'The Total Idiot's Guide to Planting & Taking Care of Stuff' but apparently it hasn't been written yet...
