Any ideas what this is? In some places it's over 4 feet tall. Should I remove it?

Looks like a Blackberry, Rubus sp. They are useful plants, but a pain where they're not wanted. There will be underground suckers where they are growing; to remove them they need to be dug out.

If it's a blackberry, then it will have fruit on it? That would be awesome. I definitely won't get rid of it then.

Yes it will have fruit. It is best to make a hedgerow with the plant that you can manage for berries.

I hope you have a big yard, and understanding neighbors...if it decides to "travel over the fence.

If it's a blackberry bush, I understand how it could be tempting to keep it. Yum!
