I must have grown this last year and plunked it in the ground without a tag.

It's a perennial, as it did not bloom last year.

the plant is about 30-36" tall and about 12 wide. I just noticed it yesterday ... but then i've been gone awhile, so i have no idea when it started blooming.

any ideas?

and i do not believe the leaves had a scent... i was thinking an agastache... but no aroma.

blooms are a purplish blue, about 3/4 to and inch long.

One of the ladybell species - there are some lookalikes so I can't narrow to species level. They might also could come over from a neighbor's yard - they can seed themselves.

thanks Malus ... I'll see if i can't narrow it down a bit. I did find that I WS"ed some Lady Bells in 2008. But the seeds are not in my database... so i will have to look elsewhere. I'm thinking I got them in a big Swap - and there probably was not any more info.

ahhhhh, i just found some scribbled notes in a note book... It just says "Old Seed"

I'll have to see if the gal is still on Daves.
