I'm about 2 cut some some tempered pegboard into 11" circles and I need them to be completely sealed so water won't destroy them for St least 6-8 months. They will be the base of a veggie planter that will be filled with potting soil that stays consistently damp. I have a gallon of Kilz that I was told will dry to a waterproof "plastic" coating if I dip each circle and hang to dry. Please advise ASAP if you know better way. Thanks! Linda
Linda, I love Polyurethane, I painted a flower pot that broke and I glued back together but it leaked.
Two coats of ploy and no leaks. I also did the same with a crock pot.
Hope this helps.
