I'm new to this site as well as gardening in the IE. Hubby and I moved to Menifee from San Diego last summer and we are working on our landscaping, etc. We bought a foreclosure, so there was no back yard at all, and luckily the grass in the front came back, and we have some really pretty daylilies and fortnight lilies in the front yard. The trees were all dead, so they've all been pitched.

We have planted 12 large queen palms on our property, and also have a pygmy date palm, some purple cornflowers, bogenviella, a few cactus, a few banana's, etc. We love a wide variety of things, especially flowers and palms, and I'm wondering if you have any advice on what grows well here. We are in Menifee, zip 92584. We get a lot of wind, full sun (no totally shady spots yet), and last winter we had frost a few times.

I'm so excited to have found this site!
Hugs
Erin
