I just made an arbor from a persimmon tree that needed to be taken out.. I put in four peeler poles( the arbor is 8x12) and used the branches to create the top. I used the longest branches to create the arch. I have planted climbing roses and clematis and can hardly wait until next summer to see the results.I used branches for the clematis and roses to climb up along the length of the arbor. The arbor will be leading the eye to a pond that is in the making so now to the pond forum...Shirley
