This is growing in my flower bed-I'm such an airhead I can't remember if I planted it or not. I need to start keeping a journal of what I plant!
No thorns so not a berry, about 24" tall. If it has a flower it's not come out yet. It's not a vine, so not poison Ivy. long stalk, no side leaves. It grows pretty thickly.
I live in SE Pa.
Thanks for any help!

Pretty hard to tell - maybe parsley family but you will have to explain its flower or post a picture of it no matter how small the flower is.

It could be Ground Elder. Very undesirable and difficult to eliminate.

Hmmmm look a lot like Aegopodium podagraria! Get rid of it immediate! Variegated form is aggressive enough, green leaf form is virtually noxious.

You folks are right-It does look just like the pictures of ground elder.Oh my gosh-This stuff has really spread this year! And here I was thinking it might make a good ground cover. Reading what you have to do to get rid of it, I think I have my work cut out for me.Thanks so much-I have to get right out there and clean it out.

DixieD, please submit your excellent photo to the Plantsdatabase page for Aegopodium podagraria. The photos currently there are somewhat different from yours. Good luck eliminating the bugger.

Ok-I have uploaded all three pictures to the plants database. The editors may select whichever one they deem the most helpful. I'm grateful to this forum-I might have gone on in blissful ignorance and had a plantation of the stuff! Fortunately, I'm a catagorizer and like to have labels for everything.
