Hello, I know this is a hardy hibiscus as it comes back every year. I am more concerned what the correct color/name is for it, does anyone know? It looks maroon to me but purple to others so I'm not 100% sure. Thanks for any information.

Lord Baltimore, Crimson Wonder and Fireball are three of the deep red varieties. Lovely picture! :-)

It may be one of the Luna series which has a deep burgundy flower, or one of the Disco series of mallows.
