i saw these while hiking in happy camp, moorpark, ca...the blue flowers were on a spiky bush growing in a dry riverbed...

i thought i identified the third as a type of astragalus...but if anyone knows the genus that would be great

Nice snakes!
The second one is an Asclepias spp., milkweed.
The third is a lupin, Lupinus ssp..

great with identifying both plant 2 and 3's genus...i will look on calflora for a species, unless anyone knows right away, ill need to return for seed pods on the lupine

I found one photo of Lupinus albifrons var. albifrons which seems to match the picture of the third plant, both most flower colors do not, however i understand that there is a lot of differences in color based on habitat and natural hybridity. Great job with identifying those two plants altagardener!

Plant one is an Eriastrum sp, possibly Eriastrum densifolium
