My nephew is getting his first house and wants me (ha ha) to help him with landscape ideas. Since I'm a zone 8 gardener, I told him I'd see if I could get some help from you zone 10 experts. I will however, be doing some plantings for my wedding/housewarming gift as I'm so poor :(
Here is his first Photo Shop rendering of what the house will look like, he has a LOT of work to do and will need to work around the demo areas. Remember this is a far cry from what he just bought!
To start with, we need some backbone plants for the foundation. Easy care and able to withstand his western exposure.
