Fountain of knowledge, that you are Ms. Sharron. I wouldn't know where to start if you gave me ten reference points or what to do when I found it.
Ferns are fascinating to me and I wonder why I only grow two varieties, the common native wood fern and asparagus fern. Now that is as precise as I can get other than to say they are both green.
LouC,
It is so good to hear from you again. I thought I might have to send a search party out for you.
I used to wish I lived in a woodland, with a creek running through and ferns all over. They fascinated me that much. Of all the things I miss about the mountains, having them around me is at the top of the list. Each little family of ferns has its own look and personality, but the hart's tongue is the one who is always so different. Maybe I just identified with it.
I can't write about much of anything unless I have memories I associate with it. Once those memories fade, I won't be able to write a word.
It's so good to hear from you again.
Thank you.
Sharon
