Beginner Gardening Questions: What can I do with this??

I want a vine, I was thinking about ivy but it dosnt flower. Dose anyone have any suggestions? It's got a pretty varigated leaf. But I think it only blooms in the Spring with small lilac flowers. It is shiny and green with a pretty oval shape. The best thing is it can go for weeks without water and not die, believe me I know. It grows fairly fast too.
