My trusty rain gauge gave up hours ago. I know we had 1 1/2" in 45 minutes earlier this afternoon and it has been too wet to check ever since. The poor dog needs to go out but we are not talking about a gentle rain here it is a rumbly, thundery downpour that won't stop.
My water bill has been about $100 less per month this year than it was last summer so some good comes from all this moisture.
