My best friend lives in an older modular home and has just installed some lovely perennial beds. However, she does not have an exterior faucet in order to easily water the flowers. We would like to install one. I am really comfortable with PVC and pretty comfortable with copper, however, I have never worked much with galvanized pipe. I am suspecting that this is what she has.
I would like to T off a line under her house (near the skirting so we can make an access panel - then she can get to it to shut it off right at the T each fall). Any thoughts or advice for working with galvanized pipe, how to make a transition from the galvanized to PVC, or thoughts on the porject in general??
Thanks a bunch!
Jennie
