And to think I was surprised when I saw the first bloom ... imagine my shock when I saw three on the same plant at the same time! Does anyone know if this is normal for this species (Colocasia gigantea Thailand Giant Strain)? The other two Thai's have not bloomed yet that I've noticed. I purchased them from Plant Delights in late winter/early spring during the open house weekend. Kept them indoors in bright light until it was safe to move outside, and they now provide nice shade to my fish pond.
This may be a silly question, but I'm not experienced with seed collecting to know ... do these blooms produce seeds, and if so, how should I harvest and store them?
