According to an e- newsletter sent by Sen. Bill Nelson, Burmese pythons are becoming a lethal menace around the Everglades. A two year old girl was killed by one a few weeks ago. It was eight feet long. If you haven't already trained yourself, always look where you're stepping when you''re outdoors, and if you can't see where you're stepping, proceed slowly, and make noise. They estimate the population of these snakes in Florida at 100,000 and growing. I do not know if they make good soup.
