Sharon, I read this when it was in the approval queue and I just loved it. Consider me inspired :)

And I'll bet your world is made up of just as much color as mine, isn't it?

How did you like my orange pot...it sure is messed up on the back side. I thought of you when I was writing that part. I knew you'd understand.

Thanks, Susanne.

At work and among friends, I'm known as the one with "loud" clothes and as someone who paints their house walls more than most women paint their nails, lol. You pinned me good :)

And on the orange pot...I don't know why we never learn not to fire our things with students' work. I just keep shooting myself in the foot! lol Speaking of, only 3 more weeks!! Yikes

You are back to school about the same time as I would be if I were still working.
Hope this year goes well for you.

Yep, I lost lots of things thinking it would be fine fired with the kids work...
Never did learn that lesson.

Me too, about clothes and painting walls. Painted my kitchen cabinets something called garnet..liked it so much I added it to two walls. Yes...I do know about color.

I had a red kitchen until recently! Oh and you would appreciate, I just redid my studio...lime green, black and white! I love it. DH wasn't too sure, but came around once he saw it all put together. We must be cut from the same rare fabric. It's probably bright yellow or something like that, too.

Actually my studio is in the process...one long wall has western cedar wood on in, and I do love that wall. No stain or anything, just the wood. However the other walls are getting ready to become something else...maybe a yellow, maybe more of a yellow green. I have not decided yet. But the floor...it is a concrete floor, and I am going to also paint it. Just not sure what yet. And no, not a spatter design, something really good and different.

The furniture, cabinets, etc will all be black, some are already, but not all.

But I am waiting till fall to decide.
Maybe you have some ideas...
