Monday was a sad day here as this big star stopped shining. Jake came as a kitten with the longest legs and most fleas I have ever seen. He never was a lap cat, but if he chose to on very rare occasions he would jump up and lay for a bit, probably traumatized as a kitten from the flea baths and wrapped in a towel and held for a few minutes waiting for shampoo to work. You could carry him around all day, just don't sit down. He was a very loving cat and would nuzzle you face and head with his if you picked him up or carried him around. He was oh so gentle, never baring his claws in anger and in his latter years when he had to be given a pills you never had to worry about being bitten when your fingers were in his mouth. He loved to play hide and seek, I would run and hide and he would come find me and he was very good at finding me.
Jake is and will be sorely missed.
Ken
