I was disappointed with the results of my garden this year. I brought in a couple of cu. yds. of sand and a couple of yds of "super soil" which improved the texture dramatically. However, I think the soil lacked the proper nutrients. After I complete harvesting this Fall, should I do a soil test or wait 'til Spring? Likewise, I plan to add some composted manure for next year and don't know if I should do it at the end of Fall, or wait 'til early Spring?

I would do it now, get the results and amend it and laet it lay over the winter.
