| A heaping tablespoon of baking soda and a squirt of Ivory liquid to a galleon of water works on my roses. |

| I just use milk and it works. I cut off the very bad leaves (from where the leaf ends not starts) carefully. Do not compose. I do the milk every two weeks. |

Cinski, do you use straight milk on your sprayer, or do you dilute it with water (and what proportion)? |

| The enzymes in milk that attack the powdery mildew and break it down so that it does not function. Use one part milk to nine parts water. I read that it is suggested to use powdered mile (1 tbsp) to a litre of water but I just used milk.
Worked for me.

| My son's father-in-law uses milk on his tomatoes. No fertilizers just milk. Had some beautiful tomatoes last year. Don't know about this year. I can see how it would be good to keep down BER, because of the calcium. Don't see how it would work in the place of fertilizer. Have no idea of how he mixes it. |
