I think an ant colony has decided to "farm" black aphids in one of my artichokes. Has anyone ever seen this? The nest is deep down in the center of the plant, so I'm afraid to blast it with water -- I'm concerned it will not drain properly. Any organic suggestions? I'm in zone 9B (Pleasant Hill, CA) Thanks!
