My boyfriend said it was a pea...I will save the seeds. I guess I dry them like other seeds. linux_guile Pueblo, CO July 18, 2009 03:58 PM Post #6835285 generally when saving for seed the pods are left to dry on the plant. at this stage the seeds may not be viable but its worth a shot =). just wait till the pods are dry and brown and they should crack open, some require more force than others.
