My tomato plants were exceptionally large this year (to 7 feet), but for all of the foliage, we got very little fruit. What we did get was exceptional, but not as many blossoms as I would have thought and then even less fruit. Did I fertilize too much? Too much water (but if I didn't water, the plants would stress). We live in the desert at about 3000 feet, shaded the plants when the sun became too intense, did have bees, enough, I think to pollinate - we have never had this problem before and are totally puzzled. Any ideas? Comments much appreciated.
