Great photos---i have a question----i was told that the walking iris i have in my garden is a trimetzia. In your article it is listed as neomarcia longifola. are they two different flowers?
if you are interested in seeing the blooms in the garden check out http://www.mysisterdalesgarden.com

There has been much reclassification of Neomarica in recent years...it may well now be a Trimetzia but at least IN THE PAST it was classified as a Neomarica, so I included it as such.
