I know I need to replace the toilet or have the seal fixed. What do I do about the floor under it though? How do I replace part of a floor? I'm going to end up in the basement one of these days...

If it's just the subfloor, patching it isn't too bad a job for a new DIYer, but if you think your floor joists might be compromised, you'd do well to call in a pro.
