I read they are good for getting rid of JP. Are there any variety that are perennials up here?

duck, there was a thread about 4 o'clocks over on the perennials forum a couple of weeks ago and someone mentioned that they may repel JBs. Doesn't seem to be much hard evidence tho . . .

Thanks. I sent a note to the Illinois person who said s/he had 4 o'clocks that made it through our winters. I knew they didn't repel, only killed.

I heard from "an old hippy" that they used to chew 4 o'clocks to get a mild high when he was in college. He teased me that I should keep an eye on the neighborhoold teenagers in my flower beds.
