ok im still frothing at the jowls some from a recent iris co-op.

and yes i know it will be a while before they ship.

but Proper Planning Prevents Pitifully Poor Performance . . .or something like that.

what is the best way to prepare an iris bed?
where is the best location?
our FULL SUN here does burn many plants that are said to take sun . . ..
Do re-blooming iris beds need different preparation than the regular ones??

we have clumping Caroling clay that turns to cement when its hot or dries out
- so please recommend a good garden soil
- lastly which fertilizer is good and effective??
I am trying to get away from MiracleGrow - but will accept all advice - HAPPILY!

anyone heard of: SuperThrive?? should i dip in ST before planting??
