I purchased a packet of yellow "Bird of Paradise" seeds from Groco (Ebay) and they have been sitting in the pots, dutifully watered, for 6 weeks! Anyone have any ideas or experience with this plant.

Take them out of the pots and soak them for 4 horus in some hot but not scaldign water with some hydrogen peroxid e in the water. Then take an emory board and gently run it alogn the sid eof the seed and then plant in soem seed startign mix that just barely moist, almost dry to th touch and cover with plastic baggy and put wher e wil get some heat adn wait and wait and wait.
They take a logn time to germinate cna be as logn as two to thre emonths, but worth it in the end.
