I have a voodoo lily that I had to dig up and put in a tub when I moved last summer. I was unable to plant it so it got left in the tub. It put up the perfumed (?????) bloomstalk as usual. My problem was after that I was still unable to plant it (no beds in the shade - just sun). It got too much sun and just seemed to "freeze in time". It still has the bloom stalk ,with seed pod at the top, and that is all. That should be long gone by now, right ?? If it is dead ( I know it got too much sun and dried out at times, too) then why did the stalk not fall over? Can someone tell me how to tell if it is still alive after a year ????
thanks, guys. I love this thing and will hate it if I have lost it due to my move. It had been over 5 ft. tall the previous year !
