I love our tradescantia in the spring; both the blossoms and the foliage so striking and subtly lovely. But by this time of year, they're a true eyesore; the foliage fading and falling over, generally looking disreputable. Can one safely cut them down when they finish flowering or, like the spring-flowering bulbs, do they need the foliage left in place to nourish them for next year? Thanks in advance for any help-
Ruth
