Approx size 52' x 59"

Made up of flashed glass, sand carving, glass enamels, kiln working, laser engraving. From the begining of designing to finished window was around 3 years. The first year was spent collaborating with the client, doing pattern changes etc. The second year was spent working on the window...between flooding, glass shippments being delayed, glass being rejected by us due to defects or other issues at the wholesaler and the list goes on and on...but at the start of the third year it all came together and was shipped to the client. The window arrived in NY and all was looked over and signed off on and ready to install!! Pictures aren't that great of it for now, but better ones to follow once install is complete.

Most of the glass is imported or made by a glass manufacture just for this window. The windows in the theatre are made to look like there are colors floating behind them. The checkered road, stars in the sky and around the moon, car grills and license plate are flashed glass and sand carving and/or laser engraved. All have 3-D effects. The windows in the boat are flashed glass that was molded in a kiln to look 3-D. There are a ton of other processes we did to get the effects we were looking for also, but complicated to describe, sorry.

Enjoy!
